App Market Launcher Management

Updated on May 1, 2024

App Launcher Management allows the admins of the project to edit and potentially “whitelabel” our App Launcher for the user view. To begin, we will take a look at the high-level settings.

Info & Theme

  1. Rename the App Launcher. This could be a company name or something similar
  2. App launcher URL is what is shared with the users to access the available apps
  3. Provide a company logo. This is a great way to whitelabel the product
  4. Apply a theme color. We accept a hexadecimal color code so that you may match your company’s color
  5. Preview any changes made

Once all changes have been made, click “Apply” for the changes to take affect.

Categories

Categories help divide up and organize the available applications for your users. These categories will not affect what is seen in the App Market. This only applies for the applications in your collection.

  1. Select the categories
  2. Delete the categories. This icon is only visible if there is one or more categories selected
  3. Add a new category
  4. Edit the name and the icon associated with a category
  5. Re-order the categories
  6. Once the categories have been re-ordered, apply the new order

Custom Domain

To set up a custom domain for the App Launcher, you must obtain a domain name and SSL certificate. The correct format and compatibility of the SSL certificate and private key must be ensured.

Acquire the domain

Please obtain a domain to use in the app launcher.

Obtain SSL certificate

An SSL certificate is required to secure your domain and keep the personal information safe.

2-1. Select a Certificate Authority (CA)
Select the CA that will issue the SSL certificate.

2-2. Create a Certificate Signing Request (CSR)
Required by a certification authority (CA) to issue a certificate.

2-3. Submit CSR to CA (Certification Authority)
Submit the required files according to CA (Certification Authority) procedures for review.

2-4. SSL Certificate Issuance
Once the CA (Certification Authority) review is complete, an SSL certificate is issued.

  • Verify that the certificate format is X.509 PEM format.
  • The app launcher supports all types of certificates issued by trusted certification authorities (CAs).

The following conditions are required for Private Key:

  • Private Key must match Public Key.
  • Private Key must be in PEM format.
  • Private Key must not be encrypted.

Certificate Key support details

  • RSA certificate: Supports 1024-bit, 2048-bit, 3072-bit, and 4096-bit RSA keys.
  • ECDSA certificate: Supports 256-bit keys.
DNS settings

Update your domain’s DNS settings to point to the app launcher server.

Certificate expiration and renewal

Allganize regularly checks the expiration dates of registered SSL certificates. To prevent sudden service interruptions, you must renew and update your SSL certificate in the LLM Launcher before expiration.

  1. Register the issued domain name, certificate body, and certificate private key.
  2. Once input is complete, click the ‘Submit’ button.
